Clean Water in Dirty Vessels?

how often do we bring a message to others, a message that is the pure, clean water of Truth, but we bring it in a dirty vessel? we couch the Truth with strife, or bitterness, or condemnation, and we expect the hearer to drink?! this once pure water is now contaminated with decay and death, with the flesh. and if they do drink, and they partake of our example, that it's ok to bring water to others with a dirty vessel.... the infection spreads. where is Grace? where is Peace? where is Love? those are the ingredients for a godly vessel.

how blessed are the feet of those who bring GOOD news... the Gospel message, the Good News, is one of love, not anger; one of peace, not strife; one of grace, not condemnation. how horrible to bring to others the Living Water in a vessel contaminated with death!!!!

Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom.

But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth.

This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic.

For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there.

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.

Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
