deaf, and a brain like swiss cheese!

i REALLY gotta get my hearing checked.... it gets worse and worse, how often i'm going, "sorry, what was that?".... and to be honest, sometimes i get so tired of sayin' "eh?" that i just nod like i really heard what they said, iffn i figure it was not something i needed to respond to.... confession time, lol!

and to top off the information i don't hear, there's what i do hear and forget. i mean, we all forget stuff sometimes, but to forget something someone told me three minutes ago, TWICE, and then forget it again? lol. some of that is my wonky attention span (if they didn't dx me ADD i'd be suprised). but then i can forget what i'm talking about three times in a row.... within the same sentence~!!!! again, partly attention span about as long as my pinky finger nail, lol, but aggravating nonetheless!!!!!!

i wandered around canadian tire yesterday for about 20 minutes trying to remember what i went there to look for! (a stability ball). a guy that worked there stopped me and asked if he could help me find something... i said, no i'm ok thanks... but what i should have said was, "sure, i just don't know what i'm looking for!" lol

anyways, i need to book an appointment to get my hearing checked, and SOON. ...i just have to remember to do it.
